Bathtub vs Shower

Want to save on that staggering water bill? Try installing a shower! Here are some standard facts about tubs and showers.

a)      A full bathtub holds an average of 140 liters of water

b)      Standard showers dispense 20-60 liters per minute

c)       Shower heads with restrictors dispense 10-15 liters of water per minute

If you’re not a power shower-er and take only about 4 minutes with low-flow shower heads installed, you can save up to 80 liters of water per cleaning. However, use a power shower and watch the liters add up….fast. Bath or shower? Satisfaction or frugality? You decide!
