Another thing to consider when cleaning the window, glass table top or other similar items is the texture of the cloth that is used to wipe them. The cloth should be able to absorb water or the cleaning solution. Otherwise, the water or cleaning solution will just dry up, leaving streaks even if you wipe it off.
Microfiber cloth or towel is a good absorbent and does not scratch glasses. This cleaning accessory can be found in supermarkets and other stores selling home products. Or if you do not have one, just make sure that the cloth that you are going to use is a good absorbent and lint free. Lint is the fiber of the cloth that may be left after wiping the glass.
