Attic Spaces
If you have an attic space that is of considerable size, it can either be made into an additional room or installed with access provisions to allow its use as a storage space. Attics have long been used as storage space due to the huge amount of spaces left behind by the roof. Should you decide to have it used as storage, a sturdy ladder or even a permanent one on top of the staircase hidden by another door would be a good addition allowing you to easily gain access should you need to get some seasonal stuff you may be storing there. There are some precautions you should observe with attics, such as ventilation should you happen to spend a long time getting stuff there. It would also be wise to tidy up at least once a year so you get grime and dust to a minimum.
Vacuuming is easy and with some time, you can render your attic space into a spic and span space, lighting should also be considered as well as an outlet where you can plug-in your vaccume or additional lights should they be needed. You may even want to have some shelves installed so you can maximize space allowing proper organization. Plastic containers are not too cozy in the attic for they will crack and get literally cooked in there but not if the attic is well insulated and proper ventilation is installed. With that in mind, your attic space will be a nice place to store those seasonal items such as decor and trees heving them within easy reach and organized next time round.
